Protect the Earth, move toward the future

We are extending the domain of civilization beyond the Earth's sphere so that we can protect this planet and hand it on intact to the next generation.

The Earth is finite, yet the human desire for self-realization and happiness keeps expanding without limit. That is why we believe those possibilities must not be confined to this planet alone, and why we need to build a future that does not keep burdening the Earth.

We also believe that moving out into space opens up the perspective that humanity shares one planet, beyond borders and positions, and that this can help reduce division and conflict.

For the fellow humans of the future, we keep taking solid steps in the ways available to us today.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Desire and temperance

To live is to suffer, and within that each person carries different desires. In such a society, conflict and inequality may be unavoidable. The 20th century was an era in which human beings harmed a great many of their own.

We believe that space philosophy can bring humanity new hope. As our bodies and cognition open toward space, existing philosophies and values may be transformed at their roots. Beyond that change, we see a brighter and more sustainable future for humanity and for the Earth.

And yet, walking this path may be arrogant; it may even be a path toward harm.
That is precisely why we want to keep exploring, through dialogue with many people, whether this path is truly good for humanity.
