What Is a Space Balloon?
We fill a high-altitude balloon with helium and let its buoyancy carry cameras and other equipment up into the stratosphere (roughly 10–50 km altitude) to film. The result is one-of-a-kind footage—capturing the pitch-black of space and the curve of the Earth in a single frame—that simply cannot be shot from the ground.

Launch Experience
We fill a large balloon with helium, mount the camera equipment, and launch. Guests who join the launch experience can take part in the whole process from start to finish. Our staff provide attentive support, so even first-timers can feel at ease.
02.
Reaching the Stratosphere
The balloon climbs to the stratosphere at around 30 km and films the pitch-black of space and the curve of the Earth. We later deliver this footage from the edge of space—impossible to capture from the ground—as digital data.
03.
Search & Recovery
After launch, the payload lands at sea or on land—such as in Hokkaido—depending on the weather. Using GNSS positioning, our recovery team heads to the landing site and retrieves it. Once we review the camera footage and confirm the stratospheric imagery came out cleanly, the mission is a success.
